My first build will be for the Hasegawa 72nd scale F-111G that I'll be building as a "What if" South African Air Force F-111SA.
This is what I hope it will look like once finished :)
This is where I was at as of July 7th 2010. The red/brown stuff you see on the masked nose is what I call 'goop'. It is essentially Tamiya extra thin cement mixed with sprue to make a plastic based filler. It works very well although it can be a pain to apply sometimes. It sands easily and doesn't shrink.
Here you see the sanded nose. I've tried here to show the nose with the light reflecting off it so you can see how smooth the end result is.

Two Taurus Cruise missiles, sourced from the Revell Typhoon kit, that will be part of the weapons fit, along with a drop tank and IRIS-T missiles in an asymmetrical load.
